Oct.2,2008: New SIG Proposed: Vibrant Learning Communities by Mike Katagiri (mikekat)

This was the key result from the noon Barcamp session at the Future of Training event. Thanks to the support of the 12-15 attendees, a new SIG is proposed to be formed around this topic. We wish to continue sharing and helping each other on our own Learning Community and Collaborative Learning Initiatives: Including the sharing of business strategies, change management, and tactical ADDIE processes and tools.

This is intended to be broad discussion of the topic and will include high level discussion of integration of technologies such as Wikis, Blogs, Forums, OneNotes, Google Docs, ... These topics can/should be discussed in much more detail in the Technology SIG.

An invitation to a formal chartering meeting will be forthcoming and posted on this site and the event calendar.
